1/2 cup hazelnut oil
1/4 cup milk
1/2 + 1/3 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup sour cream
1/4 cup hot coffee
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Whisk oil and milk in small bowl and set aside
- Combine flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar and salt in large bowl
- Add oil/milk mixture, egg and sour cream to dry ingredients
- Beat until smooth
- Add hot coffee and stir until smooth
- Bake on lower rack for 32-35 minutes
- Leave in pan for 10 minutes then turn onto a cooling rack
Notes
- Batter will be very runny. This is normal. Do not try to add bits of chocolate or chocolate chips, they will stick to the bottom of the pan!
