Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hazelnut oil

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 + 1/3 cup flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup hot coffee

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Whisk oil and milk in small bowl and set aside
  • Combine flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar and salt in large bowl
  • Add oil/milk mixture, egg and sour cream to dry ingredients
  • Beat until smooth
  • Add hot coffee and stir until smooth
  • Bake on lower rack for 32-35 minutes
  • Leave in pan for 10 minutes then turn onto a cooling rack

Notes

  • Batter will be very runny. This is normal. Do not try to add bits of chocolate or chocolate chips, they will stick to the bottom of the pan!
