Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Fava beans, thawed if using frozen*

  • 2 bunches Dill, finely chopped

  • 3 Eggs

  • 5 cloves Garlic, minced

  • 1⁄2 Cup Butter

Directions

  • Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan. Add the fava beans and saute them for 2 minutes. Gently stir so as not to break them too much.
  • Add the garlic and dill to the mixture and saute for another 2 minutes.
  • Add a cup of water, cover with the lid, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Crack the eggs on top of the mixture and cover again to cook the eggs. Eggs can either be mixed in or left on top.
