16 ounces Fava beans, thawed if using frozen*
2 bunches Dill, finely chopped
3 Eggs
5 cloves Garlic, minced
1⁄2 Cup Butter
Directions
- Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan. Add the fava beans and saute them for 2 minutes. Gently stir so as not to break them too much.
- Add the garlic and dill to the mixture and saute for another 2 minutes.
- Add a cup of water, cover with the lid, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Crack the eggs on top of the mixture and cover again to cook the eggs. Eggs can either be mixed in or left on top.
